Need help getting your Little Night Owl to sleep?

The solution is HERE.

Hi, we are Tara D'Amico and Christine Mizenko, and we are Certified Sleep Consultants. We help tired parents nurture their child's relationship with sleep. But more importantly, we are moms who have been right where you are now...struggling with your child's sleep.

Does any of this sound familiar?

• Your child will only fall asleep when nursing or bottle feeding
• Your child needs a soother or pacifier in order to fall asleep
• You are waking up with your child one or more times a night
• Your child needs to be rocked, bounced, or taken for a car ride in order to sleep
• You are struggling with naps and a nap schedule
• Your own lack of sleep is starting to take a toll on you and your family

If your baby or toddler isn't sleeping through the night, neither are you — and that means you're probably feeling:

• Physically and mentally exhausted
• Stressed, depressed, and irritable
• Afraid you may be damaging your child
• Disconnected from your partner

If you have tried everything, regain your CONFIDENCE in parenting by getting the facts. We give the answers to why your baby isn't sleeping so you can stop guessing.

WE are RECOGNIZED by tuck.com as one of the Top Sleep Consultants in the United States!

Our Sleep Philosophy

The Sleep Sense™ Program was created with the belief that healthy sleep habits make for healthy children.

A well-rested child is curious, energetic, happy, playful, and eager to learn. We are more interested in improving your child’s sleep than preaching a particular sleep philosophy.

When parents entrust us as their child’s “sleep guide,” either through one-on-one consultations or seminars, they are placing a great deal of trust in us, and we want to let you know that we take this responsibility very seriously.

While most books and programs dealing with child sleep problems take philosophical stands (based largely around the issue of “crying it out”), we believe that your child’s sleep is more important than our personal views on the subject. That’s why the Sleep Sense™ Program puts so much emphasis on accommodating different parenting styles.

Our approach to improving your child’s sleep is pretty simple:

• We'll give you honest information about WHY sleep is so important for your child’s well-being. (This will give you all the motivation you need to make changes to your child’s sleep habits.)

• We’ll lay out an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan that lets you make some choices about what is the right approach for your child. (All children are different, and nobody knows your child better than you do. We encourage you to use your knowledge of your child to customize his or her sleep plan.)

• We will show you how to measure success. (No, you shouldn’t expect your child to sleep 12 uninterrupted hours on the first night — although it does happen! we’ll tell you what you should expect along the way…)

A little note about the “crying” question:

Since people always ask whether the Sleep Sense™ Program involves “crying it out,” we think it’s something that deserves to be addressed here.

Crying is your child’s way of protesting change, and you can expect that making changes to their sleep habits will result in some protest. That’s why we're always sure to tell parents that this program will most likely involve at least some amount of protest on the child’s part.

Please understand that we will never ask you to leave your child to cry alone, nor will we ask you to ignore their cries. The reason that The Sleep Sense™ Program is so effective is that it allows you to develop a plan that you feel comfortable with, based on what you know about your child.
