7h 7m of sleep out of 8h 38 minutes in bed with an 82% efficiency score. I also got my lowest resting heart rate so far at 37bpm.

I had 1h 24m of REM last night and 41m of deep. This is a reversal for me as I usually get more deep sleep than REM.

I likely would have slept more and had a higher overall score, but our family dog woke me up around 5:45am which is about 45 minutes earlier than usual.

I’ve had high energy and strong focus today with no feeling of needing a nap which I used to require regularly but have only needed once or twice in the last couple of weeks.

My mental energy has also been higher on my Stamets Stack microdosing days which are currently 4 days a week including today. I’m not sure if microdosing is improving my sleep at all, but it is having a positive felt impact on my daily performance.

I’m also out of apigenin right now which was part of my nightly pre-sleep supplements when my sleep started improving but my higher quality sleep has remained consistent without it so I’m not yet sure if it is a difference maker for me.

Something I haven’t mentioned yet in my sleep tracker journey is that every night I use a nose strip to open my breathing pathway which makes sleep more comfortable for me, and I tape my mouth to ensure nasal breathing. I consider these as staples in my sleep routine.

I’ll stick with my current protocol for tonight and hopefully our dog will sleep in tomorrow so I can get the most quality sleep possible tonight.
