Sleep Tracker – 8/27/2024 (Steady & Ready)

I’ve been steady at 80% sleep efficiency or better for a couple of weeks now. While I’m still waking up a lot throughout the night, I’m recovering reasonably well and have a good focus and energy most of the day.

After going to bed shortly after 9:00pm, I got uncomfortable and coulldn’t sleep starting around 11:00pm. I got up, tooks some ashwagandha and a teaspoon of honey which helped and I went to sleep pretty quickly after that.

I like how many times I dropped into deep and REM last night. I intentionally stayed in bed a little longer and didn’t get up until around 6:00am.

My eyes feel much better today than yesterday. It is interesting how sleep can affect that for me. I’m also working on feeding my eyes all the nutrients they need and am hopeful that my near vision which has started experiencing some blurriness issues in the last year will start to improve.

I had plans to play tennis tonight, but that has now been moved to tomorrow. My plan will be to spend more time on recovery with stretching and possibly a hot epsom salt bath after my match so that I can get a good night’s sleep tomorrow.

Pre-sleep supplements taken: 100mg Double Wood Apigenin, 5g Bulk Supplements Glycine, 3 capsules Global Healing Center Oxy-Powder, 720mg Trace Minerals Magnesium Glycinate, 3mg Pure Encapsulations Melatonin 1tsp local honey
