Michelle specializes in baby/child/toddler sleep. She is a graduate of the Family Sleep Institute, the leading Child Sleep Consulting program in the nation, after completing 250+ hours of course requirements. Michelle earned a Bachelor’s of Sciences Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Louisiana State University. She worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for 12 years prior to becoming a full-time mother and pursuing her passion of becoming a baby sleep consultant. Michelle resides in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with her husband and two children.
Michelle had firsthand experience of what it was like to be completely exhausted from a baby that did not sleep. During the first 3 months of her son Parker’s life, she was waking up multiple times a night, repeatedly replacing the pacifier and ultimately holding him while he slept. He would only take a nap with motion or in her arms lasting only 30 minutes. As a result, she started reading sleep books and researching online to become more knowledgeable on the topic of sleep in hopes of solving her son’s sleep concerns. She learned the benefits of sleep for a growing baby’s brain and development and knew it was her obligation to give Parker the sleep he needed, but knew she could not do it alone. Michelle hired a sleep specialist to help her son get the sleep he needed and deserved. Within a few days of working with the sleep consultant, Parker was sleeping through the night, taking longer naps and following an age appropriate schedule. The life changing results of instilling healthy sleep habits and having a well-rested happy baby after a full uninterrupted night of sleep inspired her to want to help others with their little one’s sleep challenges. Both of her children love to sleep and have grown from well rested babies to excellent sleeping kids! She has helped numerous families get their little ones to sleep through the night and develop better sleep habits by customizing a schedule and providing sleep guidance and tips. Michelle is dedicated to helping families overcome sleep challenges and give their little one the gift of sleep.
