At Wee Sleep Solutions, we believe sleep is as necessary to our bodies as the food we eat. Adequate sleep is essential for proper growth and development, and parents can only be at their best if well rested. It is our mission to ensure that every family gets the rest and sleep they need in order to live happy and healthy lives.
One sleep plan does not fit all! We realize that no two families are the same and we work with you to understand your family's sleep needs. Together, we work to create a sleep plan that fits with both your parenting style and philosophy, as well as the individual personality of your child. Encouragement, guidance and support are provided throughout the sleep learning process, and families are given the tools they need to maintain healthy sleep habits.
Our practice specializes in:
• fostering positive sleep habits,
• establishing a developmentally age appropriate nap schedule,
• forming healthy sleep associations,
• reducing medically unnecessary night feedings,
• transitioning from a crib to a bed.
About Joanna Winograd, Co-Founder
Joanna graduated from Union College with a B.S. in Psychology and received a law degree (J.D.) from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in Manhattan. She practiced law for 4 years, but didn't have a passion for it. She then took some time off to start a family, but knew that when she eventually went back to work she would want to make a change. She became the lucky and proud mom to two boys - Sam (now 10) and Hudson (now 8). From the beginning, she made sleep a priority and knew it was a necessary biological component to healthy growth and development.
Joanna worked on establishing healthy sleep habits from the get go, and both of her boys learned to love sleep. Many of her (tired!) mom friends began asking if she would help them teach their babies to sleep better! She was so happy to help and loved being part of making such a positive change in their lives. She began to feel so passionate about every family getting the sleep they needed and deserved, that she decided to take it a step further and become a certified infant and child sleep consultant.
Joanna studied under Deborah Pedrick, a pioneer in the field and founder of the Family Sleep Institute (FSI) and International Association of Child Sleep Consultants. She is thrilled to be able to educate families on the importance of sleep and to empower parents with the knowledge and ability to teach their kids to love sleep as much as her boys do! She firmly believes that a well rested baby is a happy baby!
Joanna lives in Westchester, NY with her husband, Josh, two boys Sam and Hudson, and two dogs, Lilly and Eli.

Wee Sleep Solutions creates customized sleep plans that best fit your family's parenting philopsophies, ranging from the most gentle methods to full extinction. We have worked with many different types of families including: families with twins, co-sleeping families, and children with medical issues, such as reflux. All of our sleep packages work for families with newborns, infants, todders, pre-schoolers and elementary aged children.
Consultation with two weeks of follow up support

Refresh
We are invested in our clients' success and want to provide you with support throughout your child's development. Whether you need help with nap transitions, moving your child to a bed or are undergoing lifestyle changes (a new home, travel, etc) a "refresh" session is the perfect way to ensure that sleep stays on track. If at any point in time you need support to enable you to maintain your child's healthy sleep, we are happy to schedule a time to connect.
