I took a dropper full of Element Health CBD last night and my sleep pattern definitely changed from the last few weeks. I had a long duration of deep sleep of 1h 38m in my first 3 hours in bed, and my overall wake up up pattern throughout the night was less frequent.
I honored the impulse to get out of bed early again at 4:26am, but at that point I only had 5h 26m of sleep. I functioned ok for a while, but I was feeling tired around lunchtime and took a 37m nap after eating. That helped a lot and I’ve felt much stronger since then.
Combining my nighttime sleep and nap, I had 1h 44m of deep and 56m of REM sleep. My short term goal is to consistently get that combined number above 3h every night.
I think there is great potential to improve my sleep with CBD. I’m running low on my supply at the moment so will be ordering more to do more extensive testing. Tonight will be CBD free so it will be interesting to see what changes versus last night.
