Your chronic insomnia probably isn’t as unique as you think (so it can be treated with CBT-I)

Although we are all unique, when it comes to insomnia, there are more similarities than differences. That’s because all cases of chronic insomnia are caused by at least one of three issues (see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fEOA9BTzDs).

So, the good news is this — no matter how bad you think your insomnia is, no matter how hopeless you feel, no matter how long you have been living with insomnia, the first-line treatment for chronic insomnia (CBT-I) is very likely to help you improve your sleep for the long-term.
