Regain sleep confidence by identifying and recognizing any external cause of sleep disruption

Sleep disruption at times of stress or change is completely normal, and to be expected. Taking a few moments to recognize any external cause of a bad night can help you put sleep disruption into perspective and this can really help when it comes to regaining confidence in your ability to sleep.

With this being said, if you are unable to recognize any cause of your sleep disruption, it’s best not to dwell on the bad night or spend an excessive amount of time analyzing it. That night was in the past. See the upcoming night as a fresh start, with no expectations — and see what happens.
