Insomnia insight #142: Core sleep – an important concept to understand to successfully use CBTi

In this episode we talk about how during times of a real or perceived threat sleep is reduced to a minimal sustainable amount which is around 4 hours. This is not by any means sufficient for feeling good but explains why you may have little sleep for days or even weeks and why sleeping 5-6 hours can feel pretty good.
