When insomnia takes over, it can feel natural to start pulling back from your day.

You might stop exercising, cancel plans, or go to bed early, hoping sleep will finally happen.

Some people notice a shift when they stop withdrawing and start returning to a routine that better reflects the life they want to live.

That change doesn’t usually magically transform sleep, but it can reduce the struggle by shifting attention away from the fight with insomnia and back toward living your life.
