How Going to Bed Later Shifted the Insomnia Struggle

When insomnia shows up, it can feel natural to get into bed early and start trying hard to sleep.
You might spend hours tossing, turning, and feeling more worked up as the night goes on.
Some people notice a shift when they stop going to bed so early and accept that the night might be long — choosing to reduce pressure instead of adding more effort.
That change isn’t a guaranteed cure for insomnia but it can help set the stage for a night of less struggle and create better conditions for sleep to happen.
