Daytime Schedule Tips for Better Night Sleep (7–12 Months Sleep Training – Day 2, Part 1)
You made it through Night 1—no matter how it went, that’s a win! Today, we’re turning our focus to daytime routines, which play a huge role in how well your baby sleeps at night.
In this video, I’ll walk you through a sample day that supports healthy sleep habits and sets your little one up for success tonight.
Here’s a typical daytime schedule for babies aged 7–12 months:
– 7:00 AM – Wake up and feed
– 9:00 AM – Solids + top-up feed
– 10:00–11:30 AM – First nap (feed upon waking)
– 1:30 PM – Solids + top-up feed
– 2:30–4:00 PM – Second nap (feed upon waking)
– 5:30/6:00 PM – Solids
– 7:00 PM – Bedtime (with feed before bed)
Having the right daytime structure helps ensure your baby isn’t under- or over-tired by bedtime—and that makes the whole process smoother.
