Insomnia insight #136: Bobby wonders if he should be happy with 5 hours of sleep or go for eight.

Bobby from episode 127 has started using CBTi technique bedtime restriction and is seeing results after 2 weeks. However, he is sleeping only about 5 hours, far from the “recommended” 8 we are always told to get. In this episode we talk about perceptions of sleep and how with continued use of CBTi I expect Bobby to sleep a bit more and feel as if he sleeps a lot more.
