Can You Die From Sleep Apnea? A Sleep Doctor Explains

As a sleep doctor, by far the most alarming thing I see in my practice is undiagnosed or untreated sleep apnea. Why? Because sleep apnea is horrible for your body and can drastically reduce your life expectancy. So in this video I’m going to walk through the dangers of undiagnosed or untreated sleep apnea.

Sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts throughout the night. If you snore or feel tired after a night of even good sleep, you could have sleep apnea. What’s more alarming is that 4 out of 5 people with sleep apnea don’t even know they have it.

That’s right folks, 80% of people with sleep apnea never get it diagnosed. Why? Because people are afraid of the treatments associated with sleep apnea. And this presents a real problem, because sleep apnea is 100% treatable. But you have to do something about it.

So my question to you is:
Do you want more energy during the day?
Do you want to play with your children or grandchildren?
Do you want to avoid major health consequences?

By not treating your sleep apnea, you could be introducing a whole host of problems that prevent you from living the life you want and deserve!
